Proof

Evidence, not marketing claims

Everything on this page is either a moderated student submission or a description of how the five-stage workflow actually operates. We publish no invented quotes, no stock faces and no unverifiable grade promises.

Real student results

Figures below come straight from moderated student feedback. They update as more students submit, and we show them exactly as they are — including when the sample is still small.

Approved student testimonials
—
Published only after the student ticks the consent box and an administrator approves the wording.
Average rating given
—
Out of five, across every approved testimonial. No filtering by score.

Student-authored
OwnVoice asks questions, tracks criteria and checks consistency. It never writes coursework for you.

Real student journeys

Longer, first-person accounts submitted at Stage 5 and published only with the student's consent after moderation. Nothing here is written by us.

No student has yet consented to publish a full journey. We will not write one on their behalf — this space stays empty until a real account arrives. The walkthroughs below explain the method instead.

Academic integrity case studies

Stage-by-stage walkthroughs of the coursework situations students bring us most often: where they started, what each stage did, and the line OwnVoice refused to cross. These are illustrative method studies, not accounts attributed to named individuals.

The vague brief that hid two learning outcomes
Level 5 health and social care reflective assignment, 2,500 words, first attempt after a referral.

How decoding a woolly reflective brief exposed two unweighted learning outcomes and moved a referred assignment from description to analysis.

Where we stopped: OwnVoice never produced a sentence of the submission. It supplied questions, structure and criteria tracking; every word came from the student's own placement notes. When the coverage checklist found the gap, it named the gap — it did not offer to fill it.

Keeping an authentic voice under deadline pressure
Business management essay drafted across four evenings, with a part-time job in between.

How a writing profile caught late-night register drift before it turned into an authorship query on a business management essay.

Where we stopped: Flagging is advisory only. OwnVoice will not substitute its own phrasing into a draft, because a voice check that rewrites for you defeats its own purpose — it would replace the very thing it claims to protect.

Referencing a literature review without accidental misconduct
Nursing literature review mixing Harvard and APA 7 across eighteen sources.

How logging page numbers at the point of reading prevented orphaned citations and unintentional plagiarism in an eighteen-source nursing literature review.

Where we stopped: OwnVoice cannot fabricate a source. A reference only exists on the page if the student logged the reading behind it — there is no path in the product by which a plausible-looking citation appears without a real document behind it.
